I've gone through four of these things - The one that came with my Dv2000, another one I ordered online which died in a week but was replaced by the same company and lasted another year, another one (which recently died in a year, but for 4 bucks i'll buy a new one every year), and this one. This one seems to be made of better materials than the one that came with the laptop, and is cheaper than most of the competition. Good all around.
Also, the photo for the product is not accurate. It has an right-angled power input to the laptop (which I like).

I've found this power cord to be better than the oem cord that came with my HP. The main thing I like better about this unit is that it has a nice green LED that lights up when power is connected to it. It makes it much easier to tell if it's plugged in than the oem unit without an indicator. Also, this unit is made every bit as well as the oem unit and cost a fraction of what an oem unit would cost. It's just an unbeatable deal all the way around. One thing that do recommend for this AC adapter/power cord or any AC adapter for that matter, is to make a couple of loops near the plug that goes into the laptop and tape them securely so they stay in the loops in order to keep any stress off of the little rubber sleeve around the wire where it connects to the plug. That seems to be one of the main areas where computer power adapters start to come apart. By making a couple of loops to take the stress off of that little sleeve and securing it very well with black tape your AC adapter cord will last much longer, especially if you move your laptop around a lot like I do. I give this AC adapter and the seller 10 stars for great quality and an amazing price. It really can't be beat for any amount of money. I highly recommend the product and the seller to everyone!!!
